The car was just 6 years old with 76k miles. New, this car would have sold for $100K. I paid $22K and had complete carfax history. All service records. Great correct for the price.
2004 MERCEDES-BENZ S
S430 Base model...it's an amazing ride, machine, and unlike any car I've ever had. But! But! There's a reason you should drive a Honda. 3 weeks after I had it, the airmatic "visit workshop" light came on...the S class rides on a very complicated system of air being fed to the struts...it's why the ride is so good, but they break all the time. The strut alone is $650 dollars, with labor $1000. There's the rub: great car but when it breaks, you are broke.
