2012 KIA OPTIMA
I bought my Optima pre-owned with 18,500 miles, primarily because it provided me with 46 months/41,500 miles of virtually bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage. I also thought (and still do) that the styling was the most appealing and the engine provided the most horsepower (270 hp) with the best mpg. I found it to be a true upscale sports sedan. One item to note regarding the touted 10 year/100,000 mile warranty. It is available only to the original owner, a detail not disclosed by many re-sellers of Kias.

2006 KIA OPTIMA
I was not sold on this vehicle til third day of ownership. Fell completely in love with it. Engine issues started 4 days after purchase. Time will tell but i hope there is a simple fix. I cant wait to get it back. I love it!!

2006 KIA OPTIMA
This was a car that I was looking at for my daughter. I ordered a Carfax on it as a last check and everything looked good. I chose it with safety and economy as well as looks in mind and it hasn't disappointed.

2011 KIA OPTIMA
I did plenty of research and test drove a few cars before buying my SX Turbo. The look is agressive with clean lines. The engine and transmission are responsive with no hesitation. The interior is comfortable and and the cooling front seats are grand in the Texas heat. The interior materials are sturdy yet stylish. The panoramic roof make driving more fun. Overall, this is a super car which I plan on keeping for years.

2011 KIA OPTIMA
I don't know a lot about cars, but my boss has worked and ran car company's across the country, and I've learned that Kia has come a long way in the last ten years. It's smooth, things work, they are easy and affordable to get worked on. im happy with my decision.

2011 KIA OPTIMA
Good deal for the money. Suspension is a bit rough on uneven pavement, so watch the potholes ;) I love that even the base model comes with Bluetooth for both phone and audio streaming.

Kia Optima Information

This midsize sedan was introduced in 2000 and has been a top-selling Kia vehicle since. Now in its third-generation, the Optima is most well-known for its low cost, contemporary style, and reliability. When the car was redesigned in 2005 to make for a more stylish, global offering, it became a big hit with American consumers looking for a midsize sedan with a value proposition as its focus.

In 2011, the Kia Optima was once again re-designed, this time with the new, more statement-setting design language of Kia. This has met with good result as the 2.0-liter engine and six-speed automatic have proven to be reliable engines and the well-designed interior and good daily drive ergonomics win the car accolades.

There are three trim lines for the Kia Optima, retained throughout most of its lifepsan thus far. The base model is the LX, the upscale model is the EX and the sporty option is the SX model. Safety is always a priority with Kia and the Optima receives high scores from crash testing.

A hybrid-electric version of the Kia Optima was offered in 2011 utilizing the same drive train as the Hyundai Sonata as part of the Hyundai-Kia partnership. The Optima Hybrid set a Guiness World Record for lowest fuel consumption in a hybrid while driving across the United States. The journey began at the car's manufacturing plant in Georgia and went across all 48 states in the continental U.S.

The Kia Optima is also a Pirelli World Challenge entry sponsored by Infinity Audio, winning its first victory in 2012.

The Kia Optima has a robust presence in the used market and is often traded in for a new one, having a high owner retention rate.

Carfax currently has 3,561 used Kia Optimas, 88% with no previously reported accidents. At the moment the average price is $22,332, while 88% have service records and 77% have had only one previous owner. You’ll also be able to find plenty of vehicles with Leather Seats, Handsfree/Bluetooth Integration and Keyless Entry.
