2008 JEEP COMPASS
I bought this SUV for my teenage daughter. The cars run great and is great on gas. My teen driver uses the car for commuting to school. Excellent Gas mileage.
1991 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER
I replaced my old 2001 Jeep Cherokee with a Jeep Grand Wagoneer; because, I wanted to bring back camping, hunting and road trip memories form my 1970s childhood and offer a similar experience for my kids. Carfax helped me find a JGW that was both in excellent condition and reasonably inexpensive to restore the vehicle to factory new condition. I would buy this JGW all over again and will enjoy this ride at car shows and adventures.

2008 JEEP COMMANDER
I am a 6'5" guy, and I am limited to what vehicles I can fit in. The Commander was one of the few I could. Out of any other SUV, this was the best. I don't feel boxed in, have plenty of legroom and headroom. All the controls are within easy reach, and I love the visibility. I have had only ONE thing go wrong with the car, and that was just this past month.
I used to get a different car every 2-3 years, and this is the first one that I've owned over that. I can say that I truly love this car! I paid the $800 to get the repair done so that I can keep it as long as I can. Not a bad track record for a car that's 7 years old!
Oh yeah, and another thing - I have absolutely NO RUST on the car. I keep it parked outdoors all year, and it still looks brand new!
2005 JEEP WRANGLER
I bought a stock 2005 Wrangler Unlimited with the Rubicon package. I love the Unlimited because it has a 10" longer wheelbase than the standard Wrangler, which gives it much better manners than the standard Wrangler, especially in the snow/ice. It also has a lot more room in the back. The ride is quite comfortable & soft, compared to my old Jeep CJ7. Off road performance in nothing short of spectacular, with a 4:1 ratio transfer case, granny 6-speed manual transmission & differential lockers front & rear.
A few shortcomings to consider. The 6-speed manual tranny can be prone to premature wear & costs $2500 - $3500 to rebuild. Make sure that it is tight before purchasing the vehicle. That said, I would never consider buying a Jeep with an automatic.....yuck! The 4.0 liter straight-six is a bullet-proof engine but is a bit underpowered, especially at high-altitude on the highway. I am considering doing a V-8 LS1 conversion in the future to remedy this problem. Finally, the Dana 44 axles are very strong axles, but the axle tubes in the Wrangler Rubicon axles are much thinner than the old Dana 44 axles in the old CJ's and therefore prone to bending under hard use. Make sure that the axles are absolutely straight before purchasing.
Overall, I love this Jeep!

The Jeep brand is a part of the Fiat Chrysler Automotive group and is one of the most legendary of America's automotive brands. The first of these is the iconic and well-loved Willys MB, adopted by the Allied armed forces during World War II. Even the origins for the Jeep name is contested and blurred with time, but what is meant by "Jeep" when uttered today is never in doubt.
