2008 JEEP LIBERTY
needed a good used car, the seats are very comfortable, nice looking and fair mileage. problems, 6 speed manual trans jumps out of 1st gear. they can fix the problem, but parts are another story, parts on back order, don't know when they will be shipped. not good news for parts replacement.
2006 JEEP LIBERTY
I love my jeep more every time it snows. With the four wheel drive and the advanced traction control I feel unstoppable. Maybe not for you if you're the kind who likes to take advantage of snow days. The fuel mileage is a bit of a let down from my small car but I expected that, and it hasn't been a big detriment.

2010 JEEP LIBERTY
Good car so far. A few bugs. But we bought it used. Lousy gas milage. But we bought it for the rough weather. The rear door doesnt release with the remote. The rear passenger door sometimes will release with the remote sometimes it won't and the front passenger window goes up crocked so it will automatically go back down. Will have the dealer fix all.
2012 JEEP LIBERTY
Needed a four wheel drive, dependable, value priced vehicle. This one offered ALL of my requirements. It had a fantastic set of service and maintenance record histories.

Used Jeep Liberty
The Jeep Liberty is a compact SUV that first appeared in 2002 under the Chrysler brand and was last updated in 2008. If you're looking for a smaller SUV that can still handle rugged terrain with ease, this is it.
First generation Jeep Liberty vehicles were designed to replace the Jeep Cherokee, which had been discontinued, as the middle offering between the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee models. Ironically, it would be the revival of the Cherokee that would ultimately replace the Jeep Liberty in 2014. Like the Cherokee, the Jeep Liberty was made available in two- and four-wheel drive editions, as well as Sport and Limited trims. Sales figures for the Liberty reached their peak in 2002, and declined steadily until 2011 where there was a short-lived uptick. One of the main reasons for the lackluster numbers could be because the Jeep Compass and Patriot'crossover SUVs with better fuel economy'both launched in model year 2007 and directly competed with the Liberty.
The second generation Jeep Liberty featured a design and mechanical overhaul for 2008. The newer versions sported sharper, squarer edges. Under the hood, Liberty no longer offered the 4-liter engine'only a V6. Traction and stability control became standard on all models, further supporting the off-road performance of the Liberty. An independent front suspension helps the Jeep Liberty excel in off-road situations where traditional vehicles might struggle.
While it offers exceptional performance in less than ideal conditions, used Jeep Liberty vehicles aren't especially known for amenities unless you opt for the Limited trim package, or optional entertainment package with Sirius Satellite Radio, navigation and a 30GB hard drive. If your routine has you frequenting dirt roads or less refined roadways, the Liberty could definitely fit your needs.
Carfax currently has 1,970 used Jeep Libertys, 77% with no previously reported accidents. At the moment the average price is $20,324, while 96% have service records and 59% have had only one previous owner. You’ll also be able to find plenty of vehicles with Heated Seats, Keyless Entry and Air Conditioning.
