      Used Hyundai Reviews

      2014 Hyundai Tucson
Bought it because it the right size for me. I am retired and only drive it two to four days a week. The only thing it does not tell me is the temperature, and I miss that item. It is a great car, we leased it and will probably buy it.

      Used Hyundai Information

Hyundai was founded in 1967 as a South Korean auto manufacturing concern and is part of the Hyundai Motor Group, which also partially owns Kia. Hyundai entered the North American market in 1984, beginning in Canada with one car before entering the United States in 1986 with the Excel followed by the Sonata.

Although largely known for its affordable, value-oriented vehicles, Hyundai has begun overhauling its image after the decade-long and very successful industry-first 10-year, 100,000-mile warranty it offered on all of its vehicles. By 2004, the company had won a second place rank in the coveted Initial Quality survey by J.D. Power and Associates.

Hyundai has many popular models in production as well as a well-deserved reputation for quality and long-term reliability in its cars after the initial problems in the late 1980s. Few vehicles can rival the Hyundai brand's deserved reputation for longevity.

Popular Hyundai sedan models include the Accent, Elantra, Genesis, and Sonata. Most of these are commonly seen on the secondary market and will sell well. The Elantra and Sonata are often seen with high mileage and a good price with a lot of life still left in them.

Crossover models in the Hyundai lineup include the Santa Fe and Tucson, which have been staples and high-sellers in the company's line from early on. So much so that the experimental hydrogen fuel cell vehicle Hyundai has fielded and is now selling in limited markets is a Tucson crossover.

Although Hyundai participates in motorsports, perhaps the most popular of its sports cars is the Veloster, which is a small hatchback that competes in the entry-level sports car segment and enjoys a reputation for fun and affordable excitement.
