We love this car. The attention to detail, the ride and comfort are excellent. Previous owner did not treat the leather with conditioner, just a little bit would have gone a long way. Overall, very pleased.

Great van. Spacious and great family car. Lots of storage. Love the DVD player for my kids. Car fax was a big help in negotiating.

My family of five needed space and dependability. The Honda Odyssey beautifully provides both. This 8-seater minivan rides like a car and has the luggage space to get my college students (and their classmates) back and forth with ease. You will not be disappointed.

Going into it, I knew it had high miles and may need some work. Overall the Van is what I expected. It has a very nice interior. The ride is smooth once I had the axle fixed and the breaks fixed.

Very nice car but unfortunately transmission went out shortly after buying it (used, 120,000 miles). Transmission problems were fairly common for this car.

Its good so for, I didn't drove it much. Will keep you posted my experiences as I drive it more. Its good so for, I didn't drove it much. Will keep you posted my experiences as I drive it more.

Used Honda Odyssey Information

The Honda Odyssey has represented the minivan in Honda’s vehicle lineup since the 1995 model year. Originally conceived of as a more wagonlike vehicle, the Odyssey grew into a larger minivan when it was redesigned for 1999. From that year forward, the Honda Odyssey sold on the North American market was made specifically for sale here. A third-generation Odyssey was sold from 2005 to 2010, and the current generation has been on sale since the 2011 model year. The Odyssey is known as one of the premier minivans in the segment and continues to be a top seller since the second generation launched.

Most Honda Odyssey vans have a six-cylinder engine, an automatic transmission and seating for six or more people. The Odyssey introduced fold-into-the-floor third row seating and has consistently had high crash test ratings. The second-generation Odyssey also won the Editor's Most Wanted award from 1999 to 2003 in the minivan category.

Used Honda Odysseys from the third generation were introduced in 2005, representing a slightly larger minivan when compared with the outgoing model. Added safety systems, more air bags, electronic stability control, and split-bench seating were introduced as standard. Engine power and fuel economy also increased. Four trim levels were offered in the third-generation: LX, EX, EX-L and the top Touring trim. A slight refresh in 2008 updated some of the Odyssey's styling and interior refinement.

The fourth- and current-generation Honda Odyssey was introduced in 2011. It features more forward-looking style and a curved, tapering roofline that’s a contrast to the square lines of many competing vans. Now made in Alabama, the Honda Odyssey is full of modern conveniences and technology and is considered one of the most luxurious minivans on the market today.

The Odyssey comes with front bucket seats and second- and third-row folding bench seats. The 60-40 split-folding third-row seat flips and folds in sections to increase storage capacity. There’s 39.7 cubic feet of standard storage space behind the third row, which increases to 93.1 cubic feet behind the second-row seats. Fold down both rear rows and the Odyssey provides up to 148.5 cubic feet.

Power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, power accessories, a USB port and Bluetooth come standard on all fourth-generation Odyssey models. Each model also includes beverage holders for each row, multiple storage compartments, hooks and 12-volt outlets in the front row and cargo area.

The current-generation saw a refresh for 2014 that updated exterior styling and added an available built-in vacuum system.

All models come with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 248 horsepower. Front-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission have been standard since the 2014 model year. 2011 to 2013 models were offered with a five-speed automatic as standard equipment, with a six-speed automatic available on higher trims.

Both the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) give the current generation Odyssey top marks for crash test safety.
