2005 HONDA CIVIC
Great for every day city commute. Its not fun to drive because of luggish automatic with lang gears and unbalanced suspension - stock springs are too stiff for this small one. And its lack of rear disk brakes as well, even at EX trim

2005 HONDA CIVIC
I bought this car for my son. We were looking for a car that gets good gas mileage and is reliable. The Honda Civic met both criteria. I rated this vehicle 4 out of 5 stars because I had to put a few hundred dollars into it for tires, brakes, filters, etc. Otherwise it would rate 5 out of 5. The CARFAX data insured that I was paying a fair price for it.

2008 HONDA CIVIC
I needed basic transportation for my long commute. I wanted high MPG, low cost of ownership, a low price, and side airbags so my kids would be safer. I test drove other compact cars, but what sold me on the Civic was the roominess of the interior and all of the above. In addition, I engine is really peppy. Honda really knows how to build them. 170,000 miles later, I am a dedicated Honda owner. I may buy an Accord for my next purchase, and give my Civic to my daughter when she starts driving next year. I heard that the newer Civics aren't as nice as my model, but I think Honda may have brought the quality back up.

2003 HONDA CIVIC
I bought this car because we needed a second car for our family. It's a nice used Honda Civic. My only advice is to check for the recalls on the car. We were able to have the Honda dealership replace the factory recalls on the vehicle for free. Otherwise it was a great buying experience using CarFax as a way to to assist in the decision to buy.

2005 HONDA CIVIC
Car was in great shape when I bought it. It was in my budget. It is the basic version of the Honda Civic with no Power Locks and Power Windows. It has goods mileage. It has only 103K miles when I bought it with no engine related problems. I recently changed the Timing Belt to be on safer side. I did inspection from mechanic near my home. He said the engine has lot of life left in it. It doesn't have any dents anywhere on body. As typical problem with Honda Cars in US, it has some paint issues. Paint peeling off from roof. But I don't worry much about that. It has one accident. Someone just hit the rear bumper of the car when it was with previous owner.

1995 HONDA CIVIC
Fully loaded, power windows, power door locks, power steering, ac , srs dual impact air bags, rear disk brakes, vtec engine is fun and great to drive , fuel economic, high rpm redline, vehicle doesnt lose value. If anything it's gaining value. A true classic for its time. teenagers love these vehicles for many reasons, and I see why.

2001 HONDA CIVIC
Awesome little car! Almost makes gas, 164000 and everything is good and tight, not a rattle, bought for my sons first car great five speed for him to learn on,

2000 HONDA CIVIC
Great car, 160,000 miles and it still runs and drives well. 32-36 mpg on the highway with an automatic. Parts are reasonably priced and easy to fix.

2000 HONDA CIVIC
I have put some improvements on it, new tires, new front window and glass tinting, and full professional detail. Seats and mats are in good condition but I did new covers and mats just to keep them free of additional wear and tear. When I got it, it was 3 star, with my improvements its a 5 star.

2002 HONDA CIVIC
Purchased for new driver in the home. Reliable Honda thus far. Transmission did need to be rebuilt probably due to improper maintenance by prior owner. Stylish. Plenty of space in backseat and trunk area. EASY to drive!

2005 HONDA CIVIC
I bought this car with the intent to get great gas mileage and have the comfort of an automatic rather than a manual. Everything on the carfax was true and up to date. Ultimately, I came out of this transaction with a great car that I will use for a long time.

2003 HONDA CIVIC
Be aware that older model Honda's over seven years old or 100,000 miles will need the timing belt replaced and can be a bit expensive.

2002 HONDA CIVIC
This was my daily driver for the last 8 and a half years. It's been an extremely reliable car mechanically. The hatchback design makes it great, versatility wise. I've been able to fit my mountain bike, or a 3 drawer chest, or a 50" plasma TV back there. It's surprisingly spacious inside. It's been a fun little car for me.

2004 HONDA CIVIC
We bought the car a month ago and had to replace the head gasket and computer and radiator. Would not advise buying an 11 year old Civic

1998 HONDA CIVIC
I bought it because despite the age and higher mileage, it was a Honda, well maintained, with service records included. It drives wonderfully well, and the ride is as smooth as a much more expensive car. I love it.

2000 HONDA CIVIC
Bought my Honda because they are reliable and have a good resale value. This is my third Honda. Used for work and pleasure; really great MPG; and quiet and smooth riding.

2002 HONDA CIVIC
I just love, love, love my 2002 Honda Civic. This car fits me just right its a small car but has a lot of room on the inside. I love Honda cars they are great!!!!

2001 HONDA CIVIC
We bought it to have a safe, reliable car for our teenage son. He will pass it down to his sibling when he drives. It is reliable, and in good condition. Most of its use is around town and to/from school. The ride is smooth and fairly quite for an older car. We find Hondas last, if well maintained.

2002 HONDA CIVIC
I bought it based on the name and supposed dependability. After 4,000 miles, transmission went. I will buy Toyota from now on. Recommend researching problems with make/ model b4 buying anything

2009 HONDA CIVIC
July 6. To and from work. Great car: dependable, good deal. I would recommend anyone check out a car's history on Carfax. It was well worth the money.

1998 HONDA CIVIC
I bought this civic for my teenage daughter who wecked the civic she was driving. Even at 200.000 mi it still had 85,000 less than her old one so I wasn't worried about the millage. At 8 hunderd it was far cheeper than any other civic I had looked at. She drives it every day for the last month and has had no issues. Very happy.

1993 HONDA CIVIC
I bought this car in 2009 for $450. I've put 40,000 miles on it with only minor repair costs. I intend to put another 20,000 miles on it. Written Sept. 2015. This is my 5th Honda vehicle.

2001 HONDA CIVIC
Great car. Runs perfectly. It's everything I expected from a Honda. Clean exterior. Clean Interior. Mechanically Sound. it gets 35mpg!

2003 HONDA CIVIC
I like the car very much. Perfect for my needs. I would definitely buy another Honda if given the need and opportunity in the future.

1999 HONDA CIVIC
Honda's hold value. Light and quick car. I use the Civic to get to work. I had to replace clutch last week, runs very smooth now.

2004 HONDA CIVIC
Gas saver. Easy to maintain, easy to repair. Low miles for a 2004 vehicle. Rated as a Great small vehicle for daily driver.Excellent inetriors.

2003 HONDA CIVIC
Bought the sporty Si model locally, found on CL. Started w 87k miles, now have 98k over 1.5 years. Great value. Fine front seats. Small back seats - basically for kids or agile youth.

2005 HONDA CIVIC
Great for every day city commute. Its not fun to drive because of luggish automatic with lang gears and unbalanced suspension - stock springs are too stiff for this small one. And its lack of rear disk brakes as well, even at EX trim

Used Honda Civic Information

Introduced in July, 1972 as a two-door subcompact car, the Honda Civic has become one of the most recognized Honda vehicles on the planet. It is such a well-known Honda in large part due to the fact that it was Honda's only offering in the United States for several years, until the lineup was expanded in the early 1990s with the introduction of the Honda Accord and Honda Prelude. Over the years, the Civic has grown in size and become more upscale to keep with the competition. This growth literally has moved it from the subcompact to the compact cars segment. This means, for older car shoppers, the older Honda Civics will progressively get smaller.

The last several generations of the Civic have been mostly cosmetic changes with new exteriors and upgraded interiors. Through this time, Honda has split the Civic into a sedan and a coupe offering, along with a hatchback version primarily designed for Europe.

Currently, the 9th Generation Civic revealed at the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit features Honda's Eco Assist technology (software to help driver improve driving style to be more fuel-efficient), standard ABS, VSA and EBD technology. It also has a new multi-link rear suspension for a smoother ride.

The Honda Civic has won multiple car of the year awards and green car awards. It consistently ranks high in safety tests. Honda says it is the top-selling compact car in America with more than 9 million vehicles sold since 1973.

It has been offered, for the past several years, with 2 different four-cylinder options and a Hybrid powertrain, providing several options for used car buyers. Used Honda Civics for salve come in four different bases models (Civic DX, Civic LX, Civic EX, Civic EX-L), high-efficiency (HF) and high-performance (Si). The base offering (DX, LX and EX) are popular used cars. These vehicles are largely separated by the addition of interior features and more whiz-bang technology offered when moving up in trim levels.

The Honda Civic competes within the highly competitive compact car segment with its chief rivals being the Toyota Corolla and the Hyundai Elantra.

Carfax currently has 10,008 used Honda Civics, 84% with no previously reported accidents. At the moment the average price is $18,338, while 92% have service records and 73% have had only one previous owner. You’ll also be able to find plenty of vehicles with Handsfree/Bluetooth Integration, Rear-View Camera and Power Sun/Moonroof.
