The car was advertised as a Toyota! I found out that it was built by Toyota for Chevrolet and sold as a Prizm. With a price of $1400 and 100k miles it fitted my need for a basic runaround that would last for c 5 years. The version I have was originally offered with central locking, electric windows, ABS, sun roof etc as options - the original buyer bought none of them so check. It's more expensive on gas than I had hoped, and I have to have a full service done very soon to see what I can to to upgrade performance - the garage that checked the car before I bought it thought it worth the money. Bodywork is very sound. Nice drive, great turning circle, slow offthe mark but then it was never billed as a Porsche!
