We just had our 2nd child and needed more space. I test drove many of this body style and decided on the shorter body style Denali. We loved the power of the 6.2 V8 and the better fuel economy of the 6 speed auto transmission. It also drove and handled much nicer than the regular yukon. The 07 on up bodystyle is a world apart from the previous generation bodystyle with far superior braking, interior quality, body / chassis integrity and overall fit and finish. When test driving these I noticed common repairs that most of them needed with over 100k miles. I noticed a lot of broken exhaust manifold studs that caused a ticking noise on startup, left engine mounts broken, and the ones with air suspensions that needed new front electronic struts and rear air/electro shocks and the suspension compressor. Look for these things as they are very common and the air suspension code z55 is very expensive to repair but makes it ride and handle awesome. If you find a good one that is ready to go you will be very happy with your purchase as I am. We love to go for road trips!
