Used Ford Reviews

2007 Ford Mustang
3 / 5 stars
I love this car. I had a 1967 Mustang back in the early 70s and always wanted another one. But this car is twice the car my 67 was. It's reliable, fun to drive, gets great gas mileage (up to 31 mpg on the highway), and basically trouble free. The only money I've spent in 7 years is on tires and oil changes. I did opt for the V6 with gas mileage in mind because I drive it every day. But the V6 has plenty of power for what I need. I'd buy another one.

Ford was founded by Henry Ford in 1903. It sells automobiles, trucks, and commercials vehicles in the Ford and Lincoln nameplates and has several overseas holdings and concerns as a global automotive manufacturer. Ford makes the highest-selling vehicle in North America, the F-150 pickup truck, which has held that title for over three decades. Ford is still controlled and managed by the Ford family.

Although many vehicles in the history of Ford are now considered classics and many of the company's now-defunct sub-brands fall into that category of collectible and classic, the company's current models are still some of the best-selling vehicles on the market and trade in used cars and trucks from Ford is brisk.

Currently, the Ford F-series of trucks, including the F-150, F-250, F-350 and more, are seen in the used truck market everywhere. Although Ford has left the heavy-duty truck manufacturing business, the F800 and LCF are still commonly seen on the used market.

Popular cars in the Ford lineup include the subcompact Fiesta and Escort, both of which are considered right-sized with the Fiesta being the popular entry-level model and the Escort the sportier option. The Ford Focus compact car is slightly larger than the other two and is often seen as a good mix of sporty and versatile.

The Fusion and Taurus are very common on the used car market, with the Taurus being a vehicle of choice for years for government and police use as well as for fleet car and rentals. Thus the car is often seen on the market in used sales.

The new Ford Taurus (after 2007) is a full-sized car, as is the discontinued Thunderbird and Crown Victoria. Of course, sports offerings such as the iconic Mustang and Focus ST cannot be forgotten.

Ford also makes a complete line of vans (E-series and Econoline), people-movers (C-MAX, Aerostar, Galaxy), and sport utilities (Edge, Escape, Expedition, Explorer). All of which are popular used cars as well.
