2014 Kia Soul
The 2014 Kia Soul is a compact, five-door hatchback available in three trim levels: base, Plus, and Exclaim.
The Soul is front-wheel drive with two engine offerings. The base model utilizes a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 130 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission is standard and a six-speed automatic is optional. The Plus and Exclaim models are equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 164 horsepower and a six-speed automatic.
The EPA gives the base Soul a fuel economy rating of 26 mpg combined, with 24 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. Models with the 2.0-liter engine receive an EPA rating of 26 mpg combined (23/31 mpg city/highway). An Eco package for the Soul Plus improves fuel economy to 27 mpg combined.
The 2014 Soul seats five and has 61 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded (19 cubic feet with the rear seats in use). Standard equipment in the 2014 Kia Soul includes full power accessories, power-heated side mirrors, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, a USB interface and a six-speaker audio system.
Optional equipment includes keyless entry, Kia's UVO infotainment system and a rearview camera. A panoramic sunroof, an Infinity sound system, heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear outboard seats.
