Used Toyota 4Runner: In Depth

USED TOYOTA 4RUNNER REVIEWS

2001 Toyota 4Runner
We had a 97 Suburban for many years and loved the space and the utility as we were raising our 3 kids. When it was totalled a year ago, we decided we would downsize since our kids are driving their own vehicles now. We bought a Honda Accord thinking we would save lots of money on gas. Well yes, we saved some money, but it just wasn't practical for us. Even though our kids are bigger and driving their own cars, if we ever want to go somewhere together or take our dogs with us, we just couldn't fit in a car. We love the 4runner because we think it will last a really long time, it isn't huge like a full size suv, but it gives us space for our family, our dogs, or hauling things.

MODEL OVERVIEW

The optional seven-passenger Toyota 4Runner is a rare SUV because it has two of the most desirable features a vehicle can have; it is as powerful as it is spacious. Its above-average safety ratings and fuel efficiency are also very important factors for the many awards and accolades the Toyota 4Runner has received.

This is a sound choice when you are looking for a vehicle for a family of any size, however, larger families can particularly appreciate that it seats seven comfortably. Working professionals who travel frequently for business purposes may find plenty of cargo room for luggage as well as plenty of comfort in the power seats that come standard. In fact, the 4Runner is a good match for any SUV buyer looking for power and capacity.

Beyond the plush, well-made power seats, further features ensure that all occupants of the more current Toyota 4Runner will continue to be comfortable. Air conditioning and heating come standard in addition to an automatic climate control system. The optional Entune App Suite 16 on the Toyota 4Runner can be used to entertain yourself, fellow adults, or kids. It enables you to access online media destinations such as Pandora.

This Toyota 4Runner also has voice recognition and hands-free phone capabilities available in the Limited trim. Additionally, the integrated back-up camera is standard on all 2014 trim options.

I purchased a Toyota 4Runner. CARFAX was a great tool in searching for a new truck. It gave me the reassurance that I was buying a quality used truck. I learned about CARFAX from searching various sites on the internet. Thanks!
