Used Nissan Maxima Reviews

2005 Nissan Maxima
The car fax report was accurate and that made a Huge difference in my decision to buy the car. I use it mostly for work. I especially like the black leather interior and the sunroof. Advise for other buyers would be to please use car fax before you buy your next car.

Model Overview

The Nissan Maxima, a four-door luxury sedan, comes in two models: the S and the SV. The S, the base model, comes standard with the 290 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine, Nissan Intelligent Key, a Bluetooth, hands-free phone system, power sliding moonroof, remote keyless entry, auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic temperature control, CD player with MP3 decoder, steering wheel mounted audio controls, and fully automatic headlights with delay-off headlights. The SV is available with a Premium package option and a Sport Package option. The SV includes the same features as the S with the addition of leather seats, rear-view camera, high-intensity xenon lights, and outside mirrors with LED turn signals. The SV with the sport package also comes with sport-tuned suspension, 18" Aluminum-alloy wheels, sport grille, and a rear spoiler. A high-tech option available to newer models include the Nissan Navigation System which delivers traffic information, weather updates, restaurant reviews, and connectivity to your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone.

The Nissan Maxima declares itself a mold breaker in the luxury sedan market by touting its mechanics as being similar to a sports car. In addition, reviewers have noted that the Maxima's exterior design closely resembles that of a sporty coup. The 2014 models also come with two additional, edgier exterior color options: Gun Metallic and Midnight Garnet.

The 2002 Maxima had 18,600 miles on it and this bothered me. The guy couldn't give me a reasonable explanation so I input the VIN into CARFAX.  This time I discovered that the car had been a rental and was sold at auction. Thank you CARFAX!
