USED MAZDA3 OWNER REVIEWS
My Mazda3 is the 3rd Mazda I have owned. I must say I have been thoroughly impressed with the 3. When I purchased the car, I wanted something economical with decent gas mileage as I use it for commuting to and from work. In this regard it has been great. Would highly recommend the Mazda3 for anyone looking for an all around great daily driver.
2014 finds the Mazda3 in fine condition as its makers have redesigned pretty much every component to make the car modern and engaging for today’s consumer. Plus, mpg is an impressive 30 city / 41 hwy. The last time the Mazda 3 was significantly redesigned was the 2010 model year. The exterior is sleeker, sportier, and refined with each iteration. The traditional Mazda happy face front design has been replaced with a more sophisticated grille. Inside, a technology make-over provides Web-connectivity via Bluetooth, adaptive cruise control, and adaptive front-lighting which moves your headlights with your steering angle as you turn corners to give you a better look at what lies ahead. The Mazda3 4-door is now available in 6 trims: iSV, iSport, iTouring, iGrand Touring, sTouring, and sGrand Touring.
The base model, the iSV comes with exterior features like daytime running lights, black beltline trim, 16-inch steel wheels, and an integrated rear window antenna. Allergy sufferers will appreciate that the air conditioning system has a pollen filter on the iSV. Other interior features at this trim level worth mentioning include remote keyless entry, a push button start, front center console storage, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, USB audio input port, and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player with 4 speakers.
The iSport comes with all of the standard features of the iSV but with a couple of extras: in exterior design you have the added bonus of body-colored dual power side mirrors and in the interior you have cruise control with steering wheel-mounted control, dual map lights and a rear cabin light, a 60/40 split rear seatback, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio capabilities.
The iTouring is where you start to see more additions to the exterior design with heated side mirrors, a bright beltline trim, a rear decklid spoiler, and interior treats like premium cloth-trimmed sport seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel. Like the iSport to the iSV, the iGrand Touring comes with the same features as the iTouring but with a few noteworthy upgrades like a 6-way, power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment and variable heated front seats.
The sTouring and sGrand Touring main difference from its i-cousins is a different engine and modified transmission. The i-trims come with the SKYACTIV 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine but s-trims come with a 184 horsepower, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
